The special thing about it is its feet: squeeze them and the ears flap up and down happily. That makes playing peek-a-boo a real party. The plush toy works without batteries, so it is always ready to play.
For the very youngest, this is a great way to discover cause and effect: I squeeze, so the ears move! That calls for squeezing with the whole hand and that exercises strength regulation and finger strength. The soft fabric provides pleasant tactile stimulation, and playing together with a parent, teacher, or therapist ensures eye contact, laughter, and turn-taking play.
