Working on fine motor skills through play
The My First Clay Dinosaur activity cards are a playful introduction to clay activities. Each card features a colorful dinosaur showing what you can make. Children roll, knead and press the soft clay into the right shape and then place it on the card. This naturally creates a cheerful dino they can be proud of.
While playing with clay, children practice many skills at once. Kneading and rolling help develop finger strength and fine motor skills. Matching colors and recognizing shapes also come naturally. The cards are reusable, so they can get started again and again and make the dino in different colors. Repetition helps to automate fine motor movements.
