Yes, really! The soft clay from SES is ideal for young children. By cutting clay with child-friendly scissors, they practice their fine motor skills, hand strength and eye-hand coordination in a playful way. This is often easier than cutting paper and therefore perfect for the first cutting exercises.
In addition to free play , clay also stimulates fantasy and creativity . Each example invites them to shape, cut and clip: precisely the skills that are important for the development of fine motor skills.
The safe scissors only cut clay – not hair, clothing or fingers. Parents can therefore let their children experiment independently with peace of mind. The included rolling pin also offers extra possibilities for two-handed exercises, which is essential for good cooperation between both hemispheres of the brain.
For whom?
This clay set is extremely suitable for use in therapy (occupational therapy, pediatric physiotherapy), in the classroom (lower grades or special education) or simply at home.
